Pastors Philip and Donna
Larson
Senior and Administrative Pastors
Founding
and Senior Pastor Philip Larson was born and raised on a farm in
southwest Minnesota. Trained at Rhema Bible Training Center,
he and Donna came to Princeton in 1984 to start First Love
Fellowship. The earmark of Pastor Phil’s ministry is the practical,
everyday application of God’s Word to our lives. He also dedicates
many hours to prayer. Whether in ministry, board games or a variety
of sports, Pastor Phil exhibits a strong, winning, team spirit! His
personal desire is to stand before the Lord and hear Him say, “Well
done, my good and faithful servant!”
Pastor Donna, as Administrative
Pastor, is known for her diligence and organizational abilities,
which are reflected in the excellence of the ministry at FLF. Her
pulpit ministry includes topical series such as parenting and goal
setting, and she oversees the praise and worship team. A native of
northwestern Minnesota and a former
equestrian student, Donna still enjoys watching a variety of
horse-related events. She delights in sharing and receiving new
recipes, and in putting together a marvelous meal!
As
passionate as they are about ministry, the Larsons consider their
greatest accomplishment to be raising three beautiful daughters who
love the Lord and serve Him faithfully.
Lindsay Sharon is a 2005 Creative and Professional Writing major and
BFA graduate of Bemidji State University. She married Ben Cournia on
New Year's Eve 2005. The couple now lives in Kodiak, Alaska, where
they are actively involved in their local church. Ben is a rescue
swimmer with the United States Coast Guard while Lindsay teaches at
the Kodiak Christian School. Ben and Lindsay love to be Godly
influences in the lives of young people, and they make the most of
living in Kodiak by taking every available opportunity to hike,
bike, kayak, snowboard, ski, fish, swim, run and explore!
Eleeya Estelle is a 2004 Milaca High School graduate with additional
training as an Administrative Assistant.
Among Eleeya’s greatest passions is travel, and this has led to her
involvement in and oversight of several short-term mission trips to
venues such as Panama, Nicaragua, Ghana, and Jamaica. Eleeya married
Jeremy Palmer on June 2, 2007. The couple makes their home in
Princeton where Jeremy is a valued employee at the Elim Retirement
Home. Both of the Palmers enjoy and are gifted in music. Jeremy
plays several instruments and helps to lead the Youth Music program
at First Love Fellowship while Eleeya recently accepted the position
of Director of Student Ministries at FLF, with oversight in both the
Children & Youth Departments.
Meredith Dana is a 2006 graduate of Milaca High School where she
received many honors in academics, choir, speech and theatre. With
additional gifts in leadership and communications, she was recently
accepted into the highly competitive BFA Acting program at Minnesota
State University, Mankato. Meredith’s future plans are to be a
positive influence for the Lord in the film and theatre industries
and to one day be a director. She is especially fond of her kitties,
playing drums for praise and worship, and virtually anything to do
with movies, film, theatre, dance and music! She loves to come home
for a visit whenever possible.
