Our History
First Love Fellowship was founded
in September of 1984, based on the desire of four area families to
have a local church teaching the uncompromised Word of God and the
message of faith. The church congregation initially met at the
Princeton Depot and later moved to the Civic Center. In 1987, the
first facility at 601 North 6th Street was purchased to provide
space for the growing church family. In 1996, the facility at 1506
West First Street was purchased and remodeled to house a sanctuary,
Children's Ministries, and administrative offices. At that time, the
facility on North 6th Street became the location for the Youth
Ministry.
To accommodate future growth,
a 25-acre parcel of land was purchased just south of Princeton on
Hwy. 169 and 303rd Avenue in Sherburne County. In February of 2004,
the former youth building at North 6th Street was sold, and "Destiny
Center" opened at 303rd Avenue.

This is the first building in
a multi-phase plan for expansion of facilities. It includes
high-tech audio and video capabilities, a full stage for drama
productions, a full size gymnasium/multi-purpose auditorium, a
kitchen and a suite of offices.
In
2006, FLF moved all adult services and the majority of its offices
out to the 303rd building. To retain a presence in the heart
of Princeton and to be more accessible to the youth, DESTINY YOUTH
CENTER is located at the First Street Building (1506 First St)
We thank God for His
faithfulness as our church body continues to grow. We invite you and
your family to visit us at First Love Fellowship!
